Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead a market strategy. Ideal candidates will have experience/familiarity in the energy field, with a particular focus on power transmission and substations. Responsibilities will include:
Forging new relationships and maintain existing ones with potential partners, clients, customers and distributors.
Market analysis and assessment of competitive landscape, including 1, 3, 5, and 10-year projections on industry trends.
Understanding compliance with local and state energy regulations.
Travel to client sites to communicate, review, and foster customer relations
Liaison between participating team members.
Develop marketing objectives, and is able to achieve it.
Other tasks and projects to support the team.
Experience and Qualifications
MBA, preferably with a focus on energy and/or middle-stage, technology growth management.
10+ years related experience.
Able to work, source, and communicate independently, and also work cohesively with a technical team.
Knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution.
Exceptional organization and documentation skills.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
