What You'll Do:

  • Oversee partnership strategy, execution and management, including partnership proposals, creative briefs, negotiating agreements, developing creative concepts and more
  • Prospect, conduct market research and participate in networking to foster new and long-term partnership opportunities that embody our brand, provide value to core target communities, and align with our larger goals
  • Manage external partner strategy and relationships focused on meeting partnership timelines and business critical metrics. Includes ability to manage day-to-day partner relationships and critical issues
  • Evaluate and structure potential partnerships and business development prospects and build business cases for recommended opportunities that drive brand awareness, provide access to new customer acquisition opportunities, and accelerate current capabilities around community & experience
  • Work to develop a roster of experiential events and partnerships to help drive additional revenue and social media engagement.
  • Monitor, analyze and measure the effectiveness of brand and consumer marketing initiatives to develop insights, and make forward-looking recommendations.
  • Partner with PR, social and content teams to assist in the development of meaningful partnerships cross-category. Strategically layer in and manage events that ladder up into these larger partnership initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee measurement dashboard for brand partnership initiatives.

What Youll Need:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related-field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in partnerships or business development-related roles (at a startup is a major plus, Direct-to-consumer even better)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively across all levels of business, both internally and externally
  • Fluency in digital marketing, including knowledge of building brands and communities in digital channels, social media, etc
  • Excels in presentation skills and respects for process & principles
  • Experience under managers and teams that are building or have built innovative brands and go-to-market campaigns is a plus
  • Comfort in working with & analyzing data, experience working on teams who use a hypothesis-driven attitude towards the work
