Regional Business Development Manager – DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland)

As an innovator in the cleaning industry, our client is now looking for a Regional Business Development Manager to hunt and develop new and existing clients with great sales potential for the company within the DACH region.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth in the DACH region.
  • Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities, including new products, markets, and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders in the region.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape in the cleaning equipments/robots industry in the DACH region.
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and deliver product and sales training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market share.
Main Requirements/skills:
  • A sales hunter with strong analytics skills, to identify the right opportunities
  • A strong communicator, that can build productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in the region
  • A project leader, that can handle the entire process from initial contact, understanding clients’ needs, developing opportunities, and winning contracts with target clients
  • A project leader that can coordinate different teams to succeed (Service & deployment teams, etc...)
  • A sales leader to drive sales development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • A strong knowledge of the cleaning market to understand customer needs, as well as  the general business climate in his/her region.
About you:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the cleaning industry
  • A strong track record of achieving targets and driving business growth
  • Great skills in presentation, commercial negotiations and handling client relations
  • Good industry knowledge in facility management and cleaning industry
  • Existing network with key distributors in the region
  • Fluency in German is essential, and proficiency in English is also required
  • A fast learner with an affinity for ever-evolving robotics technology
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the DACH region
